 Finance Project Manager

A private international company that operates in pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Manager for Finance Projects/Finance Business Parter. This position is opened as a modification to an existing position and the person at this roles is expected to take over several key areas of responsibilities from Head of Finance Projects. This position requires outstanding project management skills, deep understanding of Finance, and proven hard skills which should include financial modeling, data visualization, and analytics. This roles is supervised by the company's CFO.

 

Defining success

To be considered successful in this role, the person is expected to achieve the following outcomes within next twelve months:

·       become the leader for finance ERP projects, which includes new implementations and user support;

·       become the product owner of the company's financial models, which includes new implementations and user support;

·       within Finance function, become the evangelist for data-driven decision making, business process automation, and effective usage of existing and new tools, acting as a liaison between business and technical resources

 

Responsibilities

·       leader for finance ERP projects

·       Ax

·       managing outsourced consultants (3-4EE)

·       day-to-day support of existing user base – evaluating user requests for feasibility and communicating them effectively to the technical team

·       leading the implementation of new features and modules in the system

·       identifying areas for potential automation of business processes and ensuring end-to-end solutions: from data capture to automated reporting

·       finance closing

·       proactive involvement in finance routines (regular closing, audit, consolidation) to improve performance

·       product owner of the company's financial models in Anaplan

·       managing outsourced consultants (2-3EE)

·       day-to-day support of existing user base – evaluating user requests for feasibility and communicating them effectively to the technical team

·       leading new implementations which includes both expansion of current solutions and development of new solutions

·       analytical/automation evangelist within Finance

·       development of automated and efficient reporting solutions within reporting cycle: BoD presentations, analytical CoGS reports, production performance analytics

·       managing outsourced consultants in development of new reporting tools including OLAP cubes

·       being a main point of contact for all queries regarding technical tools and proactively implementing these tools within Finance (OLAP, Excel, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, Anaplan, BI, etc.)
