Responsibilities:

  • Work on product portfolio of the company and strategy planning for new products / TA’s / business according to global & local strategy
  • Drive the process of product ideation & approval across categories to ensure BU multi-year leading growth
  • Product evaluations/selection at high level in alignment with key stakeholders (local/global),
  • Co-create product profile in line with unmet needs & marketing requirements and align regulatory, clinical, development strategy for the product profile
  • Topline Product Business Case calculation for top level product selection
  • Ownership (from Country side) of Internal Product Approval Process from Management
  • Monitoring & Support backend development process to ensure timely product launch
  • Continuous Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges in product development and launches; develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Driving Market Research to continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., R&D, Marketing, RA, Medical Marketing, Finance, and others) to ensure effective communication, coordination, and execution of product ideation and development
  • Ensures clear communication amongst the project teams, therapeutic area strategy teams and departmental functions.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (Medicine, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related is a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Product Marketing in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Marketing experience in multiple Therapeutic areas (Respiratory/Gynae/Musculoskeletal/Gastro/Derma/CVD).
  • Proven brand/disease area portfolio development expertise- Ideating & launching line extensions (life cycle management) & new products to strengthen presence in given disease area
  • Experience in independently creating Business cases (Forecasting) & PnL
  • Expertise in project management: process building, timely execution & delivery
  • Industry knowledge: Fair understanding of drug development, regulatory, clinical, compliance, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Experience with data analysis and ability to effectively communicate findings while tailoring to variety of different audiences
