The position
As our Regional Market Access Manager you will contribute to maximize the value of Novo Nordisk business in affiliate by ensuring excellence in Market Access execution and representing Novo Nordisk vision, values and commitments when facing the customer. The position based in Almaty, the area of responsibilities will be including also Karaganda, Taldykorgan, Aktobe, Uralsk and Atyrau.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Building and maintaining market access through timely submissions, an effective understanding of local processes, and networking with key stakeholders.
- Developing a deep understanding of the market access landscape in the region, monitoring changes in the healthcare system, market trends and dynamics, and the decision-making process. You will develop insights on local payers and ensure optimal prioritization and segmentation.
- Building and maintaining effective networks with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for establishing relationships with key external experts, local authorities, NGOs, primary care organizations, and other relevant stakeholders, while adapting the national market access plan for regional market access based on local dynamics.
- Strengthening and promoting Market Access planning tools in collaboration with the cross-functional team and ensuring their execution.
- Assessing the competitive environment and monitoring key tenders. You will prepare proposals and develop regional programs/projects to enhance market access
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Medical University degree,.
- More than 3-5 years of experience in sales or regional market access departments as Market Access Manager, , or Key Account Manager, preferably with an international pharmaceutical manufacturer.
- Strong understanding of regional healthcare systems.
- Experience in analyzing complex issues and developing strategic and tactical plans.
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Proven track record of building relationships with healthcare decision makers.
- Excellent negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent spoken and written Kazakh and Russian (English is a plus).
